Don’t forget to be adventurous and try a plate of sea urchins which will be served to you in their spiky shells, they are very popular in Puglia...

The aesthetic in Puglia is low-key relaxation and effortless bohemian style, and in the summer months it is HOT - temperatures can soar into the high 30s - pack leather, strappy flat sandals, easy breezy sun dresses in light cotton and a printed maxi dress to take you into the summer nights, with the addition of a wedged heel...don’t forget to pack a good straw hat and a lot of sun cream!
