We were blessed with an endless hot summer which, at though at times felt rather worrying, was hard not to enjoy…now with Autumn upon us, having herded kids back to school and with the leaves just beginning to swirl on the ground here at Iris we automatically turn our minds towards the new season and all the gorgeous deliveries that await us.

Admittedly though we may be dreading the imminent closing in of  Winter days sartorially speaking it is a very exciting time with our stores awash with new collections in gorgeous prints and inviting fabrics - a beautiful sight to behold!

It is the time of year when we look ahead to a wardrobe refresh and decide what we need to give us that all important wardrobe update and though at Iris we try to eschew seasonal trends in favour of investing in timeless pieces that will transcend the seasons it is also nice to kick off a new season with a few smart buys that will give your wardrobe a freshen up and that all important seasonal update - with careful thought and planning you can buy smart and wisely and invest in the pieces that are going to work hard for you giving you wear on repeat.

We are excited for the new-in deliveries from our much loved brands such as Isabel Marant, Bellerose, Ba&sh, American Vintage and many more, which have filled the stores with a sea of beautiful print and colour - tantalising indeed.

We are also thrilled to welcome new brand Sea NY at Iris - famed for their homespun feel and romantic silhouettes they have done a lust-worthy version of this seasons must have “quilted jackets” and a beautiful crochet knit in vibrant, rich colours.

By Iris for A/W22 gives a nod to nostalgia -  a big trend on the runways for next season with a tartan collection featuring highland checks and soft collars styled with velvet black hair bows subtly channeling our much loved style icon -  Princess Diana.

The new collection offers vibrant  pops of colour in rich Autumnal shades of rust red,  deep purple and emerald green in our best-selling Winter Corduroy collection and beautiful Autumnal floral prints all designed in-house by our print designer guaranteeing that they are unique to Iris.

You will also see new incarnations of our best-selling Shae and Freda dresses in beautiful new season prints and colours.

Knitwear was also abundant on the runways - you can wear anything as long as it is knitted, crocheted or homespun! We have a bountiful collection of beautiful knits landing in soft mohair, chunky argyle styles and sweet cosy cardigans perfect for layering over a Winter floral dress.

Looking ahead to our Party collection landing in time for the festive season we have embraced the colour trend for all things pink with a lust-worthy fascia pink velvet suit which we are hotly anticipating - our by Iris designer Rachel Buck also embraced the passion for shimmering sequins for A/W22 much spotted on the runways with a sparkly tuxedo jacket and trousers guaranteed to lend all your parties a healthy injection of Studio 54 inspired glamour - just add a disco ball!
