How did you interior design journey start?
'Ever since I was small, I have loved moving things around and giving them an update, so when we moved into this house 5 years ago, having a blank canvas to do what I wanted was just perfect.'
Do you think there's a relationship between fashion interiors?
'I do think that fashion and interiors are really closely aligned. I find all the time that colours that become trendy in interiors, are also generally trendy in fashion.'
What makes a room feel complete?
'I always like to finish off a room by layering and texturing, which is adding textiles to the space - so cushions, rugs and blankets. Together they create a really cosy aesthetic. To me, the same applies in fashion: layering what you're wearing, using different textiles all adds that element of interest.'
What are your favourite pieces of the AW21 Iris Collection?
'My favourite item is absolutely the Sasha Cord Jumpsuit, and I love it! It's really soft and comfortable to wear - also, I love the fact that I can dress it up with heels, or down with trainers.'
How will you be shopping over the festive period?
'I shop for Christmas from independent stores, so smaller online shops. I actually write a gift guide on my blog which details lots of them. It's a great way to source unique gifts, not to mention the added touch of personal service.'
